Sarah Rasnake has always had an interest in Interior Design.  Growing up there were constant renovations going on in her home which she always took part in, most of the time being able to make many of the decisions-from choosing the paint color to flooring to cabinetry.  Touring Europe over the summer of 2001, Sarah fell in love with the different styles of architecture that she saw and wished that she knew more of the history behind it.  Deciding that she wanted to pursue her love of Interior Design, Sarah enrolled at The Art Institute of Charlotte (AICH).           After attending AICH for a couple of quarters, she started to realize that she had a specific interest in how to make the kitchen functional for specific people.  Striving to become a Kitchen and Bath designer, she has completed internships with both Bird Decorative Hardware and Bath and Accoutrements.  During her time at AICH, Sarah found her own classic and simple style with an eye towards looking at function first.  No matter what project she is give, her main goal has been to ensure that everyone coming into the space will feel comfortable there.
